Hygienic designing
Due to the many years of experience we have with complex engineering projects for customers in various markets within the global food processing industry, we know that hygiene and cleanability are of great importance to the quality of the end products and therefore also the quality of the production line. Moreover, the norms and demands are constantly developing and getting stricter and thus inventiveness and knowledge of hygienic designing becomes even more valuable. We have trained ourselves in the field of hygienic designing and our engineers do apply this knowledge to the machines we develop and engineer every day.
Project management
Together with our customers we manage turnkey projects from our Project Office. In many of these projects, our shared responsibility includes entire product development, production, construction and installation. All this will be executed in our own facility and be supervised by one of our project managers who are dedicated to one of our specializations.

This unique spiral system is entirely constructed of stainless steel and can be prefabricated and then installed on-site.

VDL Systems designs and manufactures a large variety of transport systems based on vibratory technology. These shakers find their way to the end market through several OEM’s of feed and food processing equipment and machines for bulk handling and the recycling industry.

VDL Systems designs and manufactures several types of conveyor systems. These conveyors find their way to the end market through several OEM’s of food processing equipment and in the market for internal logistics. Mainly, our client orders begin with our client’s layout and after which VDL Systems is responsible for the complete engineering and manufacturing of the project.
Trailer (Un)Loading Systems
VDL Systems designs and manufactures fully automatic loading and unloading systems for trailers. These systems find their way to the end market through various OEM’s of food processing equipment and internal logistic systems. Specifically, these systems are developed for industries in which loading and unloading of similar products is common. A fully automatic trailer (un)loading system allows you to speed up supply or to apply uniform supply. Therefore, this technology can be very beneficial in production organizations in which shuttle transport between one main location and multiple loading addresses is common.
Applicable in various industries
The industries for beverages, paper, bulk chemicals or poultry transport are examples of organizations with these characteristics. In fact, for the poultry transport industry, VDL Systems has developed a unique system for handling container units in which broilers are being transported to the slaughterhouses.
In summary, these systems allow a perfect connection between all ingoing and outgoing goods, without any intervening fork trucks and consequently without fork truck drivers. In essence, the trailer truck driver can load and unload its entire load of goods at once. Moreover, these systems not only reduce damage to the goods, packaging and transport materials, but also reduce the risk of accidents significantly.
